DISTEC solar systems We are developing different solutions and products by integrating solar powered technology which is another way to future environmental protection.   The unit to the left is equipped with a combined charger/solar panel, we call it “HYBRID system”. The integrated LED makes illumination even and bright. When the solar power is not efficient enough due to diffuse daylight conditions (which appears in several countries in Europe) the charger does the additional “work”. The panel alone is good for illuminating up to four hours a day on average (Northern Europe) . This can be optimized by increasing the panel size or simply by installation on locations with plenty of sunshine like Spain or Africa – which then could allow operation with solar power only.
